DESCRIPTION:The Northeast Earth Coalition (NEEC)\, Montclair Climate Action\, The New Jersey Sierra Club\, and Bike and Walk Montclair invite you to join their 2023 Earth Day Celebration from April 15-22\, 2023\, for a week of events on the theme of restoring our planet. Live music by John Sherman’s Band & The Blooomingfield Band\, musicals performances by The Mayo Performing Art Center Company. Free event! \nJoin us for an Earth Week Celebration!    \nList of events: \nSaturday April 15th (9:30am – 11:30am): Kick off at Crane Park\, Montclair\, NJ 07042. Pollinator garden tour\, planting of native plants\, and park cleanup. \nMonday April 17th (9:30am – 10:30am): Discussion of the role of community gardens at 94 Pine Community Garden\, Montclair\, NJ 07042. \nWednesday April 19th (9:30am – 10:30am): Presentation: How does your garden grow? at 94 Pine Street Community Garden. Montclair\, NJ 07042. \nSaturday April 22nd (9:30am – 2:00pm): Official Earth Day Celebration at Crane Park\, Montclair\, NJ 07042. Environmental Proclamation by Montclair Township elected officials. Our volunteers will gather at Crane Park for cleanups on Pine Street\, Erie Park\, Brookdale Park\, and Glenridge Avenue (behind the Bay Street Train Station).
