Earth Day Celebration

Neighbors, environmentalists, and volunteers will gather at 10am at Crane Park, (Glenridge Avenue and Greenwood Avenue) Montclair, NJ 07042 to celebrate Earth Day with community beautification projects. We will move to three locations in the Fourth Ward: East side of Bay Street Train Station, Pine Street, and Crane Park. Monarch Butterflies Release at Crane Park

Saturday, September 14 at 2pm. The NEEC’s team and a group of environmentalists will lead a group of local Monarch butterfly enthusiasts at Crane Park in a talk about the importance of pollinators and Monarch migration. During the event, dozens of butterflies will be released and caterpillar will be distributed to those interested in raising them at home.
