SUMMARY:5th Acting locally for a more sustainable world conference
DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite you to our 5th Acting Locally for a More Sustainable World Conference in January 25th\, 2020.  Our annual conference has become one of the largest gatherings of environmental and community activists in New Jersey. Forty-two organizations were represented at the event in 2019\, and we are expecting over forty-five for the 2020 conference. Please see below the information about the event\, getting tickets and tabling opportunities. \nGeneral Information: This is a great opportunity for people to connect with groups focusing on different environmental and sustainability projects in our region. More than 42 community groups attended the 4th Conference in January 2019.  At the conference\, you will have the opportunity to meet community leaders and groups from northern and central Jersey to network on environmental issues including local food\, sustainable communities\, alternative transportation\, renewable energy\, clean air and water\, and climate change activism. \nBy the end of the day\, we hope for new partnerships for mutual support. \nLocation and Date: The conference will be at the Madonna Hall\, 30 North Fullerton Avenue (Immaculate Conception Church)\, Montclair\, NJ 07042\, on Saturday\, January 25th\, 2020 from 9am to 5pm. \nDeadline for group registration: Community groups and organizations must register by December 15\, 2019.  Groups registered by this date will have the opportunity to have a table for exhibition. The cost of tabling space is $25. For exhibitors who are selling merchandise\, the cost is $50. \nGroup and organization set up: Groups that will be tabling will set up their displays between 9:00am and 10:00am. We will provide tables to the first 15 organizations to register. Otherwise\, you will need to provide your own table. The conference will open to the public at 10:30am. \nFree Parking: The venue has a parking lot at the corner of Munn Street and Park Street. There are also three public parking lots nearby\, with the closest a half block from the venue across the street from Chase Bank on North Fullerton. \nRegistration: You can register via e-mail\, indicating the name of your organization or group\, your contact information\, and your request for a display table. Please also indicate the number of people representing your organization who will be attending the conference. \nYou can also follow the link to our Eventbrite.com event (See below) and register this way. This year\, we will offer the option to reserve lunch for $15.
