SUMMARY:14th Anniversary NEEC "End of the Harvest" Annual Lunch 2023 - Day of the Dead
DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate our traditional End of the Harvest Celebration. We will celebrate our gardening 2023 achievements and will honor our dedicated volunteers for their incredible community work. We also take advantage of the season to celebrate the Monarch Butterfly migration to Mexico and their ancient connection with Mexican culture and the celebration of the Day of the Dead. \nAuthentic Mexican food will be served as well as refreshments. A Mariachi band will be entertaining the audience.   BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE \nLocation: 40 South Fullerton Avenue (First Congregational Church)\, Guild Room\, Montclair\, New Jersey 07042 \nThe NEEC began celebrating the Day of the Dead in 2009\, to honor this Mexican ancient tradition connected to the Monarch Butterfly Migration. Our community garden volunteers of Mexican descent will create the altar installation following their traditional decoration and offerings. \n \n \n
