Honoring Community, Abundance, and Sustainability

Interested in starting an organic vegetable garden? Want to find out more about composting? Seeking opportunities to volunteer in a community garden or a local organization? Looking for fun activities for kids?

The Northeast Earth Coalition (NEEC) invites you to join us in celebrating the work of local gardeners and volunteers and spreading the word about sustainable gardening and shared resources.

Join us for:

• Children’s crafts and a scavenger hunt
• Tours of the Crane Park Pollinator Garden
• Displays of locally grown organic produce
• Tabling by local gardening, environmental, and mutual aid groups
• Q&A with a Certified Master Gardener on sustainable organic gardening techniques
• Community Circle for sharing gardening experiences and recipes.
• A food drive to collect non-perishable items for the NEEC Free Little Pantries*

Free and open to all!

Participants are encouraged to bring copies of harvest-themed recipes to share and non-perishable pantry items for the NEEC Free Little Pantry food drive.

COMMUNITY GROUPS ARE WELCOME TO TABLE. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SPONSORS!
