The insect population is declining at an unprecedented rate, but we can help,
one garden at a time.

Habitat loss and pesticide use are two powerful reasons that insects are threatened. Native plants support the bees, butterflies, and other insects that are needed to support life, and in densely populated Essex County, each of us can do our part to reduce lawn and plant a pollinator’s paradise.
