Edible Landscapes Workshop
March 10, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
ADULT SCHOOL
WINTER 2022 CLASSES
About the workshop
Edible landscaping is a modern version of the World War II Victory Gardens. Combining edible plants, fruits, herbs, and flowers, it creates a space that is both sustainable and beautiful, making your yard a productive source of nutrient-dense, super local, and delicious fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about approaches to growing their own food at home within steps from the kitchen. Topics will include efficient and sustainable garden layouts, developing good soil, composting, and seasoning planting.
